Azovstal commanders released from captivity met their families: photo
In Turkey, the released Azovstal commanders met with their families.
It was reported by the First Lady Olena Zelenska.
"There are many emotions. The road to this moment was long and difficult. Finally, they were able to hug. I gave them greetings and thanks from Ukraine, from the President, and all the people for whom they are fighting. It is an important day. The main thing is that Ukraine is fighting and will fight for all our people. There are still many of them in russian captivity – men and women, military and civilians. And we need each and every one of them. Alive," she wrote.
The day before, Zelenska met with His Holiness Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul.
"And today I conveyed his blessing to our defenders and their families," she wrote.
