President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held another telephone conversation with the President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic, Mario Draghi, and the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

Rubryka reports, referring to the press service of the President's Office and the President's Telegram.

The President stressed that the main topic of the negotiations with the Italian prime minister was the fake referendums organized by the russian aggressor in the occupied territories.

The parties discussed in detail the appropriate reaction to pseudo-referendums.

"They are worthless and do not change reality. We will restore the territorial integrity of Ukraine. And our reaction to russia's recognition of their results will be very harsh," the Head of State emphasized.

Emphasis was placed on the need for a strong reaction from the world's leading states in the event of the Kremlin's recognizing pseudo-referendums.

The leaders also separately emphasized the importance of building a system of adequate security guarantees for Ukraine with the involvement of key partners of our country, in particular Italy.

Volodymyr Zelensky informed the prime minister about the situation at the front.

In addition, he emphasized the vital need for Ukraine to strengthen the capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the triumphant return of Ukrainian territories.

While discussing the defense support of Ukraine, the parties exchanged views on the possibility of Italy continuing such assistance.

The President of Ukraine noted the crucial personal role of Mario Draghi and expressed his gratitude for the active support of the Italian Republic for the independence and sovereignty of our state.

Volodymyr Zelensky also stresses the unique role of the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy in forming a new quality of Ukrainian-Italian relations.

"We laid the foundation to develop them further effectively for the benefit of the peoples of both states," the President emphasized.

He separately thanked Mario Draghi for supporting our country on the way to European integration and granting the status of a candidate country.

"As a sign of our gratitude, you have been awarded the Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, 1st degree. Your name is now also included on the Alley of Bravery in Kyiv, among the political leaders who have supported Ukraine since the beginning of russia's full-scale invasion.

I hope to have the opportunity to meet with you shortly in Kyiv and personally present a high state award," said the Head of State.

President Zelensky also spoke by phone with the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

The head of state also said that the main topic of the conversation with the Polish leader was the reaction to illegal pseudo-referendums.

"The main topic of the conversation with the President of Poland Andrzej Duda was the international reaction to the illegal 'referendums' held by russia in the occupied Ukrainian territories.

We discussed specific steps and measures that we will work on in this context, military and defense cooperation," the Ukrainian President emphasized.
