Ukrainian Defense Minister assumes that russia’s nuclear weapons may have expired long ago

Do they have carriers left? Yes. Iskanders, Kalibrs, and airplanes can deliver it. What is its quality and condition – I have a question," the minister emphasized.

In addition, Reznikov suggested that russia's nuclear weapons might have expired long ago.

"I once spoke with the second president, Leonid Kuchma, who was already completing the transfer of nuclear weapons to russia.

He reminded that, even if this nuclear potential was not given away, it would have expired in 1997.

It still had to be written off and disposed of. We gave it all to russia. Therefore, the question is: what is the state of this junk in russia?" Reznikov emphasized.

The head of the Ministry of Defense added that the Ukrainian Satan missiles are still in service in the russian federation, and it is not clear who maintains them, according to which documents, and "how old these engineers are."

"That's why he can press the button, but it can explode right there," Reznikov concluded.

Also, the minister said that Ukraine is already solving the problem of Iranian drones.

In addition, as Reznikov noted, the Ukrainian Air Force has learned to jam them.

"We are already solving it (the problem of Iranian drones – ed.). Yes, it is unpleasant, but even unique air defense systems do not guarantee 100 percent closure of the sky.

I am happy with how our Air Force is bringing down so many of these "shaheeds." We learned to jam them.

We turned to our partners, particularly those who are afraid to give us weapons but have good expertise. I told them we would give them their parts; you should study them and give us the suppression systems.

And a number of countries that did not want to give weapons became interested in this proposal," Reznikov emphasized.

It should be recalled that on September 25, Volodymyr Zelensky said that he did not consider vladimir putin's words about the use of nuclear weapons to be a "bluff" but added that there would be many more "nuclear threats."

On September 27, the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the russian federation, Dmytro Medvedev, stated that russia could launch a nuclear attack on Ukraine with impunity as NATO countries would not take direct steps in response.

Oleksii Danilov, Secretary of the NSDC, claims that the possible use of nuclear weapons by the russian federation will not stop Ukraine from defending its territories.
