russia has deported over 7,800 children from Ukraine
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukrainian lands, the russian federation has illegally deported 7,833 children.
This was reported by the press service of the Office of Ukraine's Ombudsman.
According to the data of the Children of War state portal for the search for children, as of September 28:
- 241 children are considered missing,
- 7,833 were deported.
As noted by the prosecutor's office, as of the morning of September 28, at least 1,172 children were injured.
According to the official information of juvenile prosecutors, the official number of children who died is 395.
Also, more than 777 children were injured of various degrees of severity.
Juvenile prosecutors emphasize that these numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Children were most affected in:
- Donetsk region (401),
- Kharkiv region (231),
- Kyiv region (116),
- Mykolaiv region (72),
- Chernihiv region (68),
- Luhansk region (64).
- Kherson region (55),
- Zaporizhzhia region (47),
- Dnipropetrovsk region (26).

Yesterday, September 27, a 16-year-old girl was wounded due to the russian shelling of the village of Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region.
Two thousand five hundred educational institutions were damaged due to bombing and shelling by the russian armed forces. Of them, 289 were destroyed.
