russians attack Odesa region with Iranian drones

The russians attacked the Odesa region with drones: two hit a military infrastructure facility, detonated ammunition, and a large-scale fire broke out.

The spokesman of the Odesa military administration, Serhii Bratchuk, and South Air Command reported this.

"At night, the enemy attacked Odesa region again. [Ukraine's] Air Defense Forces destroyed one drone. Two hit a military infrastructure object. As a result of a large-scale fire and the detonation of ammunition, the evacuation of the civilian population was organized," he noted.

Previously, according to the South Operational Command, there were no casualties. Fire fighting continues.

The South Air Command clarifies that it happened around 02:00 a.m. One Iran-made Shahed-136 drone was destroyed, and two hit a military infrastructure object.

"The threat of missile strikes and the launch of kamikaze drones remains relevant both from the sea, from the air, and temporarily occupied land, so actions following air raid sirens must be clear and quick. Do not expose yourself to danger," the message reads.

On September 24, Ukraine's Ministry of Foreign Affairs sharply responded to Iran's statements regarding drones following Ukraine depriving the Iranian ambassador of accreditation. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine emphasized that Iran's accusations of "influence by third countries" are false and recalled the transfer of drones to the russian army.

The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Oleh Nikolenko:

"The only 'third party' is Iranian drones, which Ukraine is already directly shooting down in its skies. Tehran bears full responsibility for the destruction of relations with Ukraine. Iran should immediately stop supplying the russian federation with weapons to kill Ukrainians and not justify itself with fantasies about 'external influence.'"

We will remind you that on Friday afternoon, September 23, the russian invaders attacked Odesa with Iranian kamikaze drones. A person died as a result of the incident.

Also, on September 22, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed seven occupiers' UAVs; four were Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones.
