Hollywood actor posted photo with refugees and reminded of illegal detention of Ukrainians in russia

American director and actor Liev Schreiber, best known for the Scream trilogy, recalled the one and a half million Ukrainians detained by russia and have no opportunity to return home to Ukraine.

Liev Schreiber published the corresponding post on his Instagram.

Citing the words of the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European integration Olha Stefanishyna, the Hollywood actor emphasized that about 1.5 million Ukrainian citizens are currently in russia without the possibility of returning home. These are mostly women and children.

He also noted that the relatives of these Ukrainians could not contact them.

Under the photo, in which Schreiber was photographed together with Ukrainian women and men who fled their homes due to russian aggression, the actor quoted Stefanishyna's words: "Today, more than ever, it is important to use all available international tools to protect fundamental human rights and redouble our joint efforts to prevent violent exploitation of citizens of Ukraine."
