"Ukrainian" tram with support QR code launched in Vienna

A tram with a unique Ukrainian design and a QR code of the Ukrainian support account appeared in the capital of Austria.

The Ukrainian community of Vienna implemented the vivid project with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Austria, Ukrinform reports.

The Ukrainian identity is intended to remind residents and guests of this European capital about russia's war against Ukraine and the importance of supporting the Ukrainian people. By scanning the QR code directly from the tram, anyone can personally contribute to such support by making a financial contribution to the account of the Embassy of Ukraine.

According to the project's initiators, the tram's appearance results from the work of graphic designer Maria Nozarian from Kharkiv Studio Grafprom company. The unique design is directly related to the artistic legacy of Heorhii Narbut, who, more than 100 years ago, worked on the branding of the Ukrainian state using national visual elements.

The "Ukrainian" tram will run for three months on route 42, which starts from central Ringstrasse street.

Activists plan to implement this idea in other European capitals as well. There is already an agreement with Vilnius and Riga, and negotiations are underway with Stockholm.
