russians do not release about 50 women who escaped Azovstal

russians do not release from captivity about 50 women from Azovstal, two of whom are pregnant

The head of the patronage service of the Azov regiment, Olena Tolkachova, reported this in an interview with Ukrainian Pravda.

"In total, around 2,000 left Azovstal, more than 900 of them are Azovians. Civilians still remained there, and there were a lot of women. And according to our agreements, women were supposed to leave just after the exchange of seriously wounded. There we have two pregnant women, one from "Azov," the other one is either a border guard or a marine – I don't know for sure. The one who is not from "Azov" is about to give birth. The one from "Azov" is in the fourth month of pregnancy," Tolkacheva noted.

She emphasized that "there are now up to 50 women".

As reported, on September 17, peaceful actions were held in Lviv, Rivne, Kyiv, Ternopil, Warsaw, and Budapest in support of women prisoners of war, Azovstal doctors, and in particular Maryana Mamonova, who is pregnant in captivity and is about to give birth.
