Ukrainian Armed Forces need “Leopards”: Stefanchuk discussed military aid to Ukraine with German minister

In Germany, Verkhovna Rada Chairman, Ruslan Stefanchuk, discussed military support for Ukraine with the head of the German Chancellor's Office, Minister for Special Affairs Wolfgang Schmidt

Stefanchuk announced this on Facebook.

"I talked about military support to Ukraine with the head of the Office of the Federal Chancellor of Germany, Wolfgang Schmidt.

Germany has contributed to building our defense capability. Ukraine is grateful for the already adopted decisions on comprehensive support for Ukraine, but we are asking for more," Stefanchuk said in the message.

The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada added that Ukraine's victory would be faster with modern weapons.

"It (weapons – ed.) are needed at the front, our soldiers need it, it is needed "for yesterday." We need to consolidate successes at the front!

Above all, Ukraine needs heavy armored vehicles such as "Marder" and "Leopard" tanks. Ukraine will be grateful if Germany makes appropriate decisions," Stefanchuk emphasized.

As Rubryka reported, Stefanchuk arrived in Berlin on September 14.

He will participate in the Conference of Speakers of the G7 Parliaments.

• Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi,

• Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament Roberto Fico.
