European Commission president arrives on working visit to Ukraine

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, arrived on a visit to the capital of Ukraine

The European Commission president said this on Twitter.

It is Ursula von der Leyen's third visit to Kyiv since russia's full-scale aggression against Ukraine began.

"So much has changed. Ukraine is now an EU candidate.

I'll discuss with Volodymyr Zelensky and [PM] Denys Shmyhal how to continue getting our economies and people closer while Ukraine progresses towards accession," said Ursula von der Leyen.

She said that putin would lose his war of aggression, and Ukraine and Europe would win.
