Azerbaijan announced the restoration of a ceasefire on the border with Armenia

The Azerbaijani independent publication Trend Information Agentliyi and АМІ News Armenia reported this.

 Trend Information Agentliyi notes, "after a large-scale provocation by the armed forces of Armenia on the state border and retaliatory measures by Azerbaijan," a ceasefire was reached at 09:00.

Later, the publication states, "armed forces of Armenia again violated the agreement, continuing the provocations." But from 09:15, the ceasefire regime was restored.

There is no information about the ceasefire on the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan website.

There is also no such information on the website of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia and the website of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reported that as of 8:00 a.m., the situation on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan "has not changed significantly."

"The enemy continues to use artillery, mortars, UAVs, and large-caliber weapons in the directions of Vardenis, Sotk, Artanish, Ishkhanasar, Goris, and Kapan, striking both military and civilian infrastructure.

In some areas of the border, positional battles also continue. The enemy does not stop attempts to advance," the department said.

AMI News of Armenia, citing the Ministry of Defense, reported that the Armenian side has lost and wounded due to the conflict.

On the morning of September 13, the National Assembly of Armenia commemorated the victims with a moment of silence.

At 11:00 a.m., the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, is scheduled to speak in the parliament about the situation at the border.

"The adopted decision on an official appeal to the russian federation and the Collective Security Treaty Organization, as well as to the UN Security Council, to implement the provisions of the Treaty on Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance regarding aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia," the message states.
