russia tried to pressure IAEA head in preparation of ZNPP situation report — Ukraine's Permanent Representative to UN
The russians tried to pressure IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi during a briefing on the situation at the ZNPP
It was stated by Ukraine's Permanent Representative to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsya, at the UN Security Council meeting regarding the situation at the ZNPP, as quoted by Ukrinform.
"It is interesting to watch in this hall how the russian envoy complains that he did not have enough time to study the published IAEA report properly as if it was not russia itself that called this meeting so urgently (of the UN Security Council – ed.).
The only thing that explains this russian ruckus is an attempt to put pressure on IAEA Director General Grossi and his team while they were still preparing the report," Ukraine's Permanent Representative stressed.
Kyslytsya reported that the russian representative failed to implement this plan, and the document was published even before the SC meeting.
After that, "the russian envoy desperately tried to manipulate the report, which, as he himself admitted, he did not have time to study."

We will remind that on September 1, the International Atomic Energy Agency mission arrived at the Zaporizhzhia NPP in occupied Enerhodar.
On September 6, the IAEA published a report on radiation safety in Ukraine, which shared data on the mission's visit to the ZNPP.
Members of the mission confirmed that russia had deployed military personnel, vehicles, and equipment at various locations at the Zaporizhzhia NPP.
We are talking about several military freight carriers on the first floor of the turbine halls in power units 1 and 2. The IAEA also recorded the presence of the Rosatom expert group.
