More than 7,000 Ukrainian civilians killed since war started

Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the National Police have recorded 22,000 enemy strikes. More than 7,000 Ukrainian civilians have been killed by the Russian aggressors.

Such figures were revealed by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Yevhenii Yenin during the nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

"The Russians continue to shell the territory of independent Ukraine with manic passion, not stopping for a moment for 191 days. Just over the past day alone, the police received information about strikes on 28 localities. Civilians are killed in these merciless attacks. Over the past day alone, the investigative units of the National Police initiated almost 140 criminal proceedings over crimes committed in the territory of Ukraine by service members of the armed forces of the Russian Federation, the Republic Belarus, and their accomplices," Yenin said.

According to his data, more than 22,000 strikes, hitting more than 24,000 civilian objects, have been recorded since the beginning of the war.

"I want to emphasize that shelling claims the lives of civilians. The number of civilians killed during this war already exceeds 7,000. And 5,500 more civilians have been injured," said the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

As reported, the National Police investigators have already initiated more than 30,000 criminal proceedings over crimes committed in the territory of Ukraine by the military of the Russian Federation and their accomplices.
