The USA is preparing to transfer an additional military aid package to Ukraine in the amount of about 775 million dollars. In particular, the package will include ammunition for HIMARS, drones, and missile systems.

American journalist Kaitlin Dornbos reports it.

A Pentagon official, who wished to remain anonymous, noted that the US had prepared a large aid package for Ukraine.

The package will include:

  • Ammunition for HIMARS
  • 16 105-mm howitzers and 36 thousand artillery shells for them
  • 15 Scan Eagle drones
  • 40 MRAPs (armored vehicles with protection against mines and ambushes)
  • High-speed anti-radiation missiles
  • TOW missile systems
  • 1000 additional Javelin anti-armor systems
  • 2000 anti-armor shells

"We've seen how Ukraine skillfully uses HIMARS on the battlefield. This long-range fire capability has really changed the dynamics on the battlefield, so we want to make sure that Ukraine has a constant flow of ammunition to meet its needs," the Pentagon stated.

He noted that the US would continue to provide munitions for HIMARS regularly.
