Ukrainian parliament recognizes russia as terrorist state and calls on the world to do the same
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine recognized russia as a terrorist state and called on other world countries to recognize it as well.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk emphasized it, the parliament's website reports.
"With this act, we recognized russia as a terrorist state. The goal of the political regime of the russian federation is the genocide of the Ukrainian people, physical destruction, mass murders of Ukrainians, and the commission of international crimes against the civilian population," said the Speaker of the Parliament of Ukraine.
He reminded that such a decision on recognizing russia as a terrorist state was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada on May 22, 2022, at the level of law per the proposals of the President of Ukraine to the Law "On the prohibition of propaganda of the Russian Nazi totalitarian regime, armed aggression of the Russian Federation as a terrorist state against Ukraine, symbols of the military invasion of the Russian Nazi totalitarian regime in Ukraine."
The registration number of the document is 7214.
Stefanchuk emphasized that Ukraine appeals to other countries of the world also to recognize the obvious fact: russia is a terrorist state, and the consequence of the corresponding certification at the level of other countries will be the isolation of the russian federation.
"This is exactly the kind of future that a country that tries to impose its 'imperial dreams' on the world with missiles and murders should have. And now it is also resorting to nuclear terrorism," Stefanchuk emphasized.
