Zelensky met UN Secretary-General in Lviv, trilateral meeting with Turkish president expected
President Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Lviv.
He posted about it on Telegram.
According to him, they agreed to continue coordination in implementing the grain initiative.
In addition, the issue of illegal and forced deportation of Ukrainians and the release of Ukrainian soldiers and doctors from captivity was discussed at the meeting.
"Special attention was paid to the topic of russia's nuclear blackmail at the Zaporizhzhia NPP. This deliberate terror on the part of the aggressor can have global catastrophic consequences. Therefore, the UN must ensure the security of this strategic object, its demilitarization, and complete liberation from russian troops," Zelensky emphasized.
As reported, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan also arrived in Lviv. On this day, a trilateral meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and Turkey and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is expected.
