Investor and philanthropist Hennadii Butkevych to visit Saudi Arabia to support Usyk during his fight

On August 17, a press conference was held in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) on the eve of the boxing match between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, with the WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO titles at stake. The support team of Oleksandr Usyk includes, in particular, a well-known Ukrainian businessman and philanthropist, Hennadii Butkevych. His investment company BGV Group Management became an honorary sponsor of Usyk's team in the rematch.

"I thank all partners who support us and helped my team to be here today. This is a historic fight—both for my career and the entire country. And I'm happy we have people and companies supporting us for a long time. Partnership over the years is valuable for its constancy and mutual respect. Our cooperation is not a sponsorship; it is a friendship that started with the love of great boxing," Oleksandr Usyk commented on the support of Hennadii Butkevych.

The broadcast of the boxing night in Ukraine will be free. Fundraising for the needs of the Ukrainian army will be open throughout the broadcast. Oleksandr Usyk and his partners aim to raise $1 million, which will be used to purchase 100 cars for Ukrainian defenders. If the donations exceed 1 million dollars, part of the funds will be spent on food kits given to IDPs and people in need.

Hennadii Butkevych is a Ukrainian businessman, co-owner of ATB Corporation, and the founder of the investment company BGV Group Management, which develops businesses and projects in the mining, processing, energy efficiency, retail, and development sectors.
