First 39 wagons of coal from Australia arrived in Ukraine

The first 39 wagons of coal from Australia arrived at the Ukrainian TPP.

The Ministry of Energy reports it.

It is noted that the Minister of Energy, Herman Halushchenko, visited one of the generating enterprises of Centrenergo, where the first 39 wagons with Australian coal of the H brand are being unloaded today.

A total of 79,000 tons of coal should be delivered to Ukraine as part of humanitarian aid from the Australian government.

"We thank the Australian government for its support and contribution to the reliable energy supply of Ukraine this heating season, which will be the most difficult in recent decades," Halushchenko emphasized.

The minister also expressed gratitude to Polish partners for their help in the logistics of Australian coal, as Ukrainian ports are blocked due to russian aggression.

Halushchenko emphasized that the preparations for the autumn-winter period are going according to plan, and the accumulation of coal is taking place in accordance with the approved schedule.
