In Poland, a decision was made to build an electronic fence on the border with the Kaliningrad region of the russian federation. Work is planned to start already in 2022.

It was stated by the representative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Border Service, Anna Michalska, writes TVN24.

According to her, on the border with Belarus, the length of such a barrier will be 202 km, and the equipment process has already begun.

Mikhalska clarified that there the posts for cameras are already installed. Then, among other things, motion sensors should be installed. The Border Service explained that this is not the end of developing security measures at the European Union's external border.

"It is planned to expand the perimeter protection of the border both on the border with the Kaliningrad region (Warmian-Masurian border unit) and on the border river Bug (River border unit)," the press secretary added.
