UNESCO to allocate almost USD 100,000 to Odesa museums, cultural institutions

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) will allocate USD 98,000 to projects in four cultural institutions in Odesa

This was announced by the Odesa District State Administration on Facebook.

As stated in the message, UNESCO will allocate grant support worth almost USD 100,000 for the museums and cultural institutions of Odesa.

"Representatives of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization have signed a contract with the Odessa non-profit organization Museum for Change. They will allocate USD 98,000 for the development of projects in four institutions of the city", the Odesa District State Administration wrote.

In particular, it is reported that the Odesa Museum of Modern Art, the State Archive of the Odesa Region, the Odesa Art Museum, as well as the Department of Culture of the Odesa Regional State Administration will receive grant support.
