Ukraine and US discussed Ukrainian army's operational situation and needs
As part of the continued dialogue, Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Valerii Zaluzhny had a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, US President's National Security Advisor Jacob Sullivan and US Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley.
The President's Office reports about it.
Ukraine's representatives informed the American side about our army's operational situation and needs.
Andriy Yermak, Dmytro Kuleba, and Valerii Zaluzhny noted the significant contribution of the United States to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.
Andriy Yermak and Jacob Sullivan agreed on the need to organize a conversation between the leaders of Ukraine and the USA, Volodymyr Zelensky and Joseph Biden, shortly.
It is worth reminding that earlier Ukraine's Defense Minister tweeted that 4 additional HIMARS from the US and MLRS MARS II from Germany have arrived in Ukraine.
4 additional HIMARS have arrived in🇺🇦. I'm grateful to @POTUS @SecDef Lloyd Austin III and 🇺🇸people for strengthening of #UAarmy
We have proven to be smart operators of this weapon. The sound of the #HIMARS volley has become a top hit 🎶 of this summer at the front lines!

Third brother in the Long Hand family – MLRS MARS II from Germany – has arrived in Ukraine.
Thank you to Germany and personally to my colleague #DefenceMinister Christine Lambrecht for these systems.
Our artillerymen salute our German partners!
