Borrell revealed conditions of Europe - russia dialogue
The European Union (EU) remains open to dialogue with russia on the condition that it renounces aggression against Ukraine.
It is stated in the publication of the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, for the Complutense University of Madrid, in which he analyzes the impact of sanctions on the future of russia.
In the final part of his work, it is said that for russia, which has been trying to regain the status of great power for 30 years, the price of a break with the West will be very high.
In his opinion, the russian regime will have to choose political survival "under the Chinese wing." China has always understood that integration into the world economy has become the basis of its rise, whereas russian President Vladimir Putin makes the opposite choice.
«As far as Europe is concerned, we remain open to dialogue with russia provided it renounces its imperialist claims and respects the full integrity of all states, including Ukraine," Borrell added.
