Ramstein-4: Ukrainian Defense Contact Group began its work
The fourth meeting of the Ukrainian Defense Contact Group (UDCG) began its work on Wednesday, July 20

It should be noted that US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin has already delivered an opening speech at the meeting.
This time, the heads of the Ministries of Defense meeting is held online.
Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, stated that at the fourth Ramstein, it is planned to announce new weapons supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Negotiations may also include issues related to logistics or supply decision-making.
In addition, new states may join the format.

What is Ramstein format?
The Defense Contact Group of Ukraine was created to assess Ukraine's defense needs and provide assistance. More than 35 countries joined it.
Therefore, at the meeting in the format of Ramstein-2, which took place on May 23, Ukraine received confirmation regarding coastal defense strengthening.
In particular, as reported by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov, it was about Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
The third meeting within the Ramstein format took place in mid-June.
According to the results of the meeting, Germany, Canada, Slovakia, Poland, and the Netherlands announced the supply of additional weapons to Ukraine.
