230 hectares of wheat burnt to the shelling in the Kherson region

Over 230 hectares of wheat in two districts were burned, and 10 hectares of forest was damaged by fire recently due to the shelling in the Kherson region. 

The Kherson region police report this on Facebook.

"Kherson region is on fire again. As a result of enemy shelling, fields and forests are burning, smoke is visible from everywhere. russian troops are intentionally destroying crops. The occupiers deliberately don't allow rescuers or local residents to put out the fires. In the last few days, more than 230 hectares of wheat have burned in the Beryslav and Henichesk districts, and about 10 hectares of forest near the city of Oleshky was damaged by fire," the message says.

In the Beryslav district, as a result of a shell hit, wheat crops caught fire on an area of ​​more than 230 hectares near the villages of Fedorivka and Mala Shestirnya. As a result of the fire, the harvest was almost destroyed.

As a result of shelling, crops caught fire near the village of Nyzhni Sirogozy, near the villages of Sokologirne and Rykove in the Henichesk district. Almost 10 hectares were burned.

In addition, 10 hectares of pine forest near the town of Oleshky caught fire and were damaged by ammunition and fragments from enemy shells.

According to all the evidence, the police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 438 "Violation of the Laws and Customs of War" of the Criminal Code. The sanction of the article provides imprisonment for a term of 8 to 12 years.
