UK Defence ministry: 50.000 Russian soldiers have either died or been injured
According to Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the chief of the defence staff for the UK, russia has lost more than 30% of its land combat effectiveness.
"They (Ukrainians — ed.) understand absolutely clearly that they plan to restore their entire territory on Ukraine's terms.
And they see how russia is facing problems. According to our estimates, the russian federation has lost more than 30% of its combat capability," the British Chief of Defense Staff stressed.
Radakin also added that in addition to 50,000 dead and wounded soldiers, Russia lost almost 1,700 tanks and 4,000 armored fighting vehicles.
He also emphasized that the Russian Federation was unable to achieve its goals.
"russia had ambitions to capture cities in the first 30 days, create rifts and put pressure on NATO.
