German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock currently doesn't see the possibility of negotiations with russia

She said this in an interview with Stern magazine.

"What can be negotiated with someone who doesn't even want to coordinate humanitarian corridors with the International Committee of the Red Cross for the evacuation of civilians?" Baerbock stressed.

The German foreign minister also rejected calls for an immediate ceasefire and talks, as demanded in an open letter by several German celebrities.

"If I were Ukrainian, consider this letter naive, alarming, and arrogant.

What right would the German foreign minister have to decide for Ukraine which part of the country to give away, how many millions of its citizens should submit to the power of russia?" Baerbock said.

German foreign ministry said that since the beginning of the war, she had no direct contact with her russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov.

"I would like to say: 'Come on, Sergey, let's agree on peace.'

But I doubt that Lavrov still has a mandate from the russian leadership.

It is unknown what role the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia plays in this," Baerbock emphasized.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock accused Lavrov of refusing negotiations after he left the G20 ministerial meeting.

It is noteworthy that before this, the foreign ministers of the G7 countries staged a boycott of Lavrov.

They didn't come to the dinner with all the G20 ministers organized by the host of the meeting, Indonesia.

In addition, the traditional photo of the meeting did not take place due to the presence of Sergey Lavrov.

As Rubryka reported, during the meeting in Bali, diplomats from the G20 countries could not find a common language regarding russia's war in Ukraine and agree on how to deal with its global consequences.

We will remind you that the Chairman of the G20 and the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, invited the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, to participate in the G20 summit.

President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine's participation in the G20 summit would depend on the security situation and the composition of the summit participants.
