Six people killed in russian shelling of Chasiv Yar, a child may be under rubble
In Chasiv Yar city, the Donetsk region, five wounded people and bodies of six dead were retrieved from under the rubble of a 5-story building, which was hit by Russian missiles. The search continues.
Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko said in a Telegram post.
"The rescue operation is ongoing. Five wounded people and bodies of six dead have been removed from under the rubble," the report says.
Kyrylenko noted that 34 people, including a 9-year-old child, may remain under the rubble. Two entrances were completely destroyed in the residential building, which was hit by missiles fired by Russians from Uragan MLRS last night.
Rescuers continue working at the site.
