The russians are stealing expensive equipment and medicines from the hospitals in the occupied territories
Currently, it is unknown where they are taking the looted goods, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said at a briefing on July 6.
According to him, the situation with the provision of medicines in the captured territories is critical.
"russia has never opened a humanitarian corridor so that we could bring certified medicines with proven effectiveness, which were purchased with budget funds and received from partners as humanitarian aid," the minister says.
These are medicines for hospitals and pharmacies which patients have received under the "Affordable Medicines" program. In particular, drugs for hypertension and insulin.
"Unfortunately, it is impossible to buy them in pharmacies today. And the stocks we had before the war are at the limit. We receive constant signals that there are problems with access to medicines," Viktor Lyashko notes.
