Commander-in-Chief Valery Zaluzhnyi told his American and British colleagues about the russian army's actions in recent days.

According to the commander-in-chief, in the Luhansk and Kharkiv regions, russian aggressors used 45,000 artillery shells in the last 24 hours.

"I had a telephone conversation this night with the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, and the Chief of the UK's Defense Staff, Admiral Sir Tony Radakin.

He began with the fact that the enemy was showing great audacity in launching missile strikes on the territory of our state.

So, four days ago, russia launched 53 cruise missiles from different base platforms.

Three days ago, it was 26 missiles; 2 days ago, it was almost 40, and, in the last 24 hours, 12.

Unfortunately, the targeted rocket attack on the shopping center in Kremenchuk took the lives and injured civilians," Zaluzhnyi said.

The Commander-in-Chief also briefed his American and British counterparts on the latest situation at the front.

"Today, the area of active hostilities begins in the north of Kharkiv region and ends on the left bank of the Dnieper near the village of Vasylivka.

The most intense fighting occurs in the north of the Luhansk and Kharkiv regions.

In this area alone, the enemy has carried out 270 artillery raids in the past 24 hours, using 45,000 rounds, two missiles, and 32 air strikes. The situation is challenging but under control," Zaluzhnyi stressed.

According to the Ukrainian army's commander-in-chief, there is a "fierce struggle on Ukrainian soil, the scale of which the world has not seen since the Second World War."

"We have no right to hand over this war to our children. We must destroy the enemy here and now. Otherwise, they will not stop. And we can do it," Zaluzhnyi said.

He says Ukrainians are ready to protect their country and children at the cost of their own lives, "but we need more weapons and ammunition."

Zaluzhnyi expressed hope that together with its partners, Ukraine would be able to defeat the aggressor and prevent the spread of this armed conflict to other countries.
