PayPal extended no-commision period for Ukraine

The international payment system PayPal has extended the period during which it will serve Ukrainians without commissions until September 2022.

It was announced by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhaylo Fedorov.

According to him, in three months of PayPal, Ukrainians have created more than 200,000 accounts and sent and received payments of more than $ 200 million. With this system, Ukrainians can support relatives abroad and collect donations for the army from around the world.

He also noted that the next step should be the launch of PayPal for business accounts.

"I thank PayPal CEO Dan Shulman for supporting Ukraine and about half a billion dollars, which with the help of the company came to the accounts of charitable organizations that help Ukrainians around the world," Fedorov added.
