Ukrainian government's new UAH 8 million grant to support processing enterprises
"Last week, the government adopted documents to launch the eRobota program and announced three grant programs to support the creation of your business. Today we are launching three more programs aimed at creating new workplaces, increasing Ukrainians' incomes, and developing our economy as well," Ukraine's PM Denys Shmyhal noted.
The state will provide up to UAH 8 million of non-refundable assistance to those who already have a business in the processing field or would like to launch new projects. Prime Minister Shmyhal says these may be enterprises in woodworking, furniture production, metalworking, agricultural processing, production of building materials, etc. The grant can be spent on equipment purchases.
"The main requirement for recipients is to create at least 25 new workplaces and tax payments. People who would like to receive the grant must present a working business idea, a clear business plan, and attract their own funds for their project," the Head of the Government stressed.
The first applicants' contribution under this program should be 30%. The state also provides additional opportunities to obtain affordable loans under the 5-7-9 program for up to UAH 16 million.
