Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief on the situation at frontline

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny stressed that the situation was very difficult for Ukrainian defenders, but it was under control.

He posted it on Telegram on June 23.

"The price of freedom is high. It is very difficult for us because the advantage is on the enemy's side.

Despite everything, we are holding on. The situation is complicated, but it is under control, " said the commander-in-chief.

He also stressed that Ukrainian defenders are forced to maneuver their defenses and take more advantageous frontiers and positions.

"But every meter of land captured by the occupiers is flooded with their blood," Zaluzhny emphasizes.

Situation at the frontline

As Rubryka reported, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the morning of June 23, russian occupation forces in the Sievierodonetsk direction captured the settlements of Loskutivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

In addition, they are storming to establish control over the village of Syrotyne.

Also, according to the headquarters, the aggressors are preparing to force the Siversky Donets River.

Currently, the fiercest fighting continues in the Luhansk region.

On June 23 morning, the RMA head Serhiy Haidai said that the \russians had gathered all reserves for the assault on Sievierodonetsk and the Zolote-Toshkivka route.

According to the head of the region, currently, the route Lysychansk – Bakhmut is impassable, and other connections are used.
