Biden administration is to announce additional military assistance for Ukraine
On Thursday evening, the administration of US President Joe Biden is to announce the allocation of an additional $ 500 million package of military assistance to Ukraine.

According to the source, the new military aid package provides for additional HIMARS High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and artillery ammunition transfer.
The White House said it could not yet provide details of new military assistance to Ukraine. They stressed that the United States would continue providing it regularly.
On Thursday, the Ukrainian Minister of Defense Oleksii Reznikov announced that the first HIMARS systems already arrived in Ukraine.
It should be reminded, that HIMARS had been announced as part of a $ 700 million aid package from the United States in early June. Initially, it was planned to provide four systems.
It was reported that MLRS were provided subject to a political commitment not to use these weapons to aim russia's territory. At the same time, the US ambassador to Ukraine said that the Ukrainian military would determine the range.
