Russia's blockade of Ukrainian ports can lead to destabilization and mass protests in Africa and Europe.

President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this at the Security Forum in Bratislava, reports UP.

"It is impossible to avoid the issue of russia's blockade of our ports. Because of this act of aggression, the world is on the brink of a food crisis. It is not just a food problem. It is a market deficit, a catastrophic rise in prices for essential goods, and the threat of hunger for dozens of millions of people. If we do not prevent it, we will get the problem of political chaos in some countries in Africa and Asia. It will lead to the migration crisis in Europe because people from countries suffering from hunger will seek salvation, "Zelensky said.

According to Zelensky, the crisis in Africa will inevitably spread to the whole of Europe.

"Also, the food crisis will inevitably lead to large-scale protests in European countries. The governments will have to explain to protesters why our continent was held hostage by one state and one person in moscow, who ordered a naval blockade of Ukraine," he said.
