Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová is paying a visit to Ukraine and has visited Irpin and Borodianka, which were destroyed by russian troops, on Tuesday

Čaputová stated this on Facebook.

"In Borodianka and Irpin, I saw firsthand the devastation brought to Ukraine by russian soldiers. Hundreds of kilometers east and south, thousands of other civilians in Ukraine – women, men, children – face the same devastation. I believe that when this nightmare is over, Ukraine will flourish again. The same as flowers bloomed today among the destroyed houses in Borodianka or Irpin," Čaputová wrote.

Čaputová also met with President Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv today, Deputy Head of the President's Office, Andrii Sybiha, reported.

"Zuzana confirmed Zuzanas; this is the slogan of the visit of the President of the Slovak Republic Zuzanna Čaputová to Kyiv. Zuzana is a Slovak 155mm self-propelled howitzer," Sybiha wrote on his Facebook page.

Čaputová also addressed the deputies of the Verkhovna Rada.

Aktuality reports that Čaputová will also hold talks with Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal. Director of the Communications Department of the Office of the President of Slovakia Jozef Matej said that after Čaputová's return from Ukraine, he would hold a special press conference.
