Scholz supports deploying weapons to war zone in Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has said that russian dictator vladimir putin should not lose control of the war, so Berlin must hand over weapons to Kyiv.
Spiegel reported this.
"It is clear that putin cannot get rid of his cynical, inhuman war," the chancellor said.
Scholz added that therefore there were tough sanctions against russia, as well as humanitarian, economic, and financial support for Ukraine.
"And, therefore, also the delivery of weapons to the war zone, which we have never done as the Federal Republic," said the Chancellor.
