russian invaders are attacking Sievierodonetsk in the Luhansk region from various directions, but they cannot break through the region's defenses.
The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Haidai, announced this on Telegram.
"The russians are attacking Sievierodonetsk from different directions. The occupiers cannot break through the region's defense. Fighting continues," the head of the region wrote.
He noted that the russian invaders were trying to get closer to the Lysychansk-Bakhmut route in the Bakhmut direction to capture it. But they fail, so the enemy is constantly firing at it, making it difficult to move along the route.
"Orcs are also purposefully firing at the bridges that connect cities within the region to disrupt connections," Haidai added.
As Rubryka reported, on May 26, an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group broke into the Mir Hotel on the outskirts of Sievierodonetsk. The Ukrainian military is working to drive out the invaders. The fighting continues.
