russia used 60% of high-precision weapons in the war with Ukraine, intelligence reports

The russian federation used 60 percent of its high-precision weapons stockpiles in the war with Ukraine.

The Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported, referring to the intelligence representative, Vadym Skibitskyi, on Telegram.

"According to our data, if we talk about high-precision weapons, we have already used about 60 percent of stockpiles. With some types, it's even more, 70 percent. There are relevant regulatory requirements for the army's threshold level to be maintained, and the same Iskander has almost reached this threshold level," Skibitskyi said.

In the first two months of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the enemy carried out rocket fire chaotically. Eventually, the situation changed.

According to Skibitskyi, russia cannot replenish its reserves as quickly as the Soviet Union.

"They don't have the capacity and rapid production of high-precision weapons, especially economic sanctions, political sanctions imposed on russia, don't allow the active, large-scale use of foreign-made components," he said.

The intelligence representative noted that the russians had changed the tactics of using such weapons.

"If earlier, russians used two or four missiles on the object, now the object is chosen, the target is eight to 12 missiles of different formats. Either ballistic or cruise missiles, ground-based or naval-based, be prepared to hit that target," he added.

"We see changes, and we understand that the resource of high-precision weapons, high-precision ammunition in russia is at the edge level," Skibitskyi concluded.
