The Times: Britain in talks to send warships to the Black Sea to protect Ukrainian grain ships

The publication noted that the UK considered this option to protect cargo ships carrying Ukrainian grain.
According to The Times, Britain, together with a "coalition of volunteers," will seek to break the russian blockade to provide a "protective corridor" from Odesa through the Bosphorus.
The publication added that sending British warships to the Black Sea was being considered because of global food crisis escalation.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis discussed the "protective corridor" with British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss.
He noted that the coalition could include some NATO countries and other countries that depend on the supply of Ukrainian grain.
It is assumed that Egypt, which has suffered from a shortage of wheat, may also take part in the operation.
