Zelensky: Ukraine looks forward to new powerful defense assistance from US

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky thanked US President Joe Biden for signing the law on additional support for Ukraine and noted that Kyiv would be looking forward to new substantial defense assistance.
"Grateful to U.S. President Joe Biden for signing the law on additional support for Ukraine. The leadership of US, President Biden & the American people in supporting Ukraine's fight against the Russian aggressor is crucial. Look forward to new, powerful defense assistance. Today it is needed more than ever," Zelensky posted on Twitter.
As reported, U.S. President Joe Biden signed a law on additional appropriations to Ukraine in 2022 which allows disbursing of more than $40 billion from the country's budget to respond to Russia's aggression against Ukraine.
