Japanese government to provide Ukraine with an additional loan of $300 million

The Japanese government has decided to provide Ukraine with an additional loan of $300 million to support Ukraine in the war against russia
NHK reports.
According to the publication, the government supports Ukraine with humanitarian and financial assistance. Japan is discussing concrete means to offer more support to Ukraine.
According to NHK, earlier this week Japan signed a $300 million loan agreement with Ukraine.
Subsequently, Japan decided to increase the loan amount to $600 million for humanitarian needs.
Prime Minister Kisida Fumio plans to announce the decision at a summit with US President Joe Biden on Monday.
