FM Kuleba: Ukraine's candidate status in EU is imminent
Ukraine will inevitably become a member of the EU, so European politicians must consider helping Kyiv gain this status.
This was stated by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, summing up his work in Germany.
According to him, he told German officials that Ukraine's accession to the EU is inevitable. Ukraine will become a member of the EU with or without the assistance of European politicians.
"It will happen anyway, it is inevitable. Ukraine will definitely obtain the candidate status, sooner or later. We want it to happen sooner, in time, at the end of June at the European Union summit," Kuleba said.
Dmytro Kuleba also said that the G7 countries have confirmed their readiness to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
