Ukrainian troops liberated another settlement in Kharkiv region
The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the settlement of Nursery in the Kharkiv region as a result of a successful counterattack against units of the russian occupiers.
This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on May 11.
"The enemy did not carry out offensive operations in the Kharkiv direction. The occupiers' units moved to the defense to slow down the pace of the offensive of our troops.
In the Sloviansk direction, the main efforts of the enemy were focused on creating conditions to resume the offensive. Enemy units continued to replenish supplies of material and technical means to increase offensive capabilities. In the vast majority of the temporarily occupied territories of the Kharkiv region, to prevent the transfer of information about the movement of russian troops, the occupiers are suppressing the cellular network. Locals in many settlements remain without electricity and water. Entering the territory controlled by Ukraine by the russian occupiers is prohibited," the statement said.
In the Donetsk direction, russian troops are trying to seize control of the city of Rubizhne and launch an offensive towards Lyman. Also, it continues preparations for the offensive in the areas of Kurakhove and Novopavlivka. The enemy is trying to hold positions on the right (western) bank of the Siverskyi Donets.
Separately, the General Staff noted that the enemy was increasing air reconnaissance of the positions of Ukrainian defenders in Donbas, using unmanned aerial vehicles.
In the Bakhmut direction, the russian occupiers continue artillery shelling the positions of our troops in the areas of Svitlodarsk and Troitske in preparation for the offensive. The enemy stormed Orikhovo and Toshkivka but was unsuccessful.
In Mariupol, the russians continue the devastating artillery and air shelling of Ukrainian defenders on the territory of the Azovstal metallurgical plant.

The situation on the northern borders with Belarus has not changed. Measures of engineering equipment for defense positions along the state border in Brest and Gomel oblasts are underway. Meetings involving conscripts are being held in Brest and Grodno oblasts. The threat of air and missile attacks from the territory of Belarus remains.
In Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy continues to carry out enhanced border protection in the Bryansk and Kursk regions. To prevent the Ukrainian leadership from regrouping forces in the north of the country and transferring them to another direction, the russians are conducting demonstrations near the border and strengthening air defense units.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine noted that the enemy continued to suffer heavy losses, and the troops were demoralized and disorganized.
Ukrainian intelligence has information that in some units of the occupiers, commanders said that the rotation of troops would not take place until the end of the so-called "special military operation."
