Czech President allows 103 Czechs to enrol to Ukrainian army
Czech President Miloš Zeman has approved the accession of 103 Czech citizens to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
His spokesperson Jiří Ovčáček announced this on Twitter on Wednesday.
He added that the decision had yet to be signed by Prime Minister Peter Fiala.
Prezident republiky 🇨🇿 Miloš Zeman podepsal rozhodnutí se souhlasem ke vstupu do ozbrojených sil Ukrajiny 103 občanům na základě jejich žádosti podané v souladu se zákonem č. 585/2004 Sb., o branné povinnosti a jejím zajišťování. Rozhodnutí podléhá kontrasignaci předsedy vlády.

"The President of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, signed a decision on the consent of 103 citizens to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the basis of their application submitted in accordance with the Law № 585/2004 Coll., On military service and its provision. The decision is subject to countersignature by the Prime Minister," the statement said.
In early March, the media reported that more than 600 Czechs had volunteered to join the International Legion in Ukraine.
