Oleksandr Usyk founded a charity fund to help Ukraine

Usyk Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Oleksandr Usyk. The fund will help Ukrainians affected by russia's invasion by providing for their basic needs.

On February 24, russia launched a full-scale war in Ukraine. According to the UN, more than 10 million people have been forced to flee their homes, thousands have been killed; the exact number is currently unknown. According to the KSE Institute, in the first three weeks of hostilities in Ukraine alone, more than 124 kindergartens, 39 hospitals, 1,600 homes, and dozens of bridges were destroyed or damaged. And these numbers continue to grow.

Ukrainian Olympic champion and absolute world heavyweight boxing champion Oleksandr Usyk and his team could not sit idle at such a difficult time for the homeland and the people. They created the Usyk Foundation to attract financial support from the international community, and people who want to contribute to peace. BGV Charity Fund, a partner of the Oleksandr Usyk Foundation will implement some projects in Ukraine.

"Helping our country and people to win this terrible war started by the russian federation has become the goal of the entire Ukrainian people. I appeal to the world community, my boxing colleagues, and conscious people who know about the terrible crimes that russia is committing against innocent people right now. We need your help and support. Ukrainians already have the power of unity, capable of defeating any evil. Now is the time to join forces around the world. Any contribution is important, because it brings us closer to victory and peaceful life in Ukraine, in Europe.

I believe that the good a person brings always comes back around to them. So let's fight on the side of the light, on the side of Ukraine!" Oleksandr Usyk, the founder of the Usyk Foundation, says.

The fund's major activity is to help the civilian population. The primary goal is to provide for the basic needs of people affected by the war. Humanitarian aid will be delivered to local governments, medical institutions, and humanitarian headquarters throughout Ukraine. As of May 6, 2022, the foundation has already provided humanitarian aid to Ust-Chorna, Tiachiv district, Zakarpattia region in Ukraine.

Anyone who needs help should fill out this form and provide details. Charity projects can be supported by both individuals and companies. International currency accounts are available for people who want to support the fund from abroad.
