Pentagon: Enemy missile strikes are an attempt to undermine Ukraine's ability to obtain weapons

Enemy missile strikes on important infrastructure are an attempt to prevent the supply of military aid to Ukraine

This was stated by Pentagon spokesman John Kirby during a briefing, quotes Ukrinform.

"They (russians – ed.) tried to hit what we think are critical infrastructure targets in the west ( of Ukraine – ed.), including power supplies, transportation hubs, and so on.

We see this as their attempt to undermine Ukraine's ability to rebuild its forces," the Pentagon spokesperson said.

"We know that materials, weapons, and ammunition get into the hands of Ukrainians," he said.

Kirby also assured that despite such strikes, the United States retains all the capabilities to supply military assistance, including weapons systems.

According to the spokesman, the United States and other Western countries have many ways to transport the necessary aid to Ukraine.

As Rubryka reported, about 250,000 people were left without electricity as a result of missile strikes by russians on the evening of May 3 in the Lviv region.

On Wednesday, May 4, the enemy struck at Kharkiv, Dnipro, and Cherkasy.

Besides, there were reports of explosions in Mykolaiv and in the Brovary district of the Kyiv region.
