The leader noted that the night in the Sumy region was not peaceful.

"At about 3 o'clock, the orcs fired on the school of the Esman community.

Two shots from a helicopter, two from the ground got to the school and infrastructure facilities," the statement said.

Also, according to Zhyvytskyi, between 6 and 7 am, artillery shelling took place from Grad MRLS along the border near Yunakivka.

Several helicopter shots were fired in the area near Mohritsa.

Border guards also reported morning shelling of the Sumy region from russian planes.

Two shellings were carried out almost simultaneously in the area of ​​the Yunakivka Border Guard Department of the Sumy Border Detachment.

According to border guards, in each case, a russian Air Force jet while approaching the border made several launches of unguided rockets that exploded on the territory of Ukraine, at a distance of up to 2 kilometers from the border.

Fortunately, there were no casualties or damage to the infrastructure as a result of the chaotic shelling.

Only fields and crops were affected.
