The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports.

The generators will be used for sustainable electricity supply to hospitals, shelters, communication stations, water supply, etc.

"True friends always bring light! Thanks to generators, we will ensure a constant supply of important facilities, despite the repeated destruction because of the shelling of the russian occupiers," Minister Herman Halushchenko wrote on Twitter.

The UK handed over the first part of 570 generators – almost 200 – to Ukraine in April. They already serve as sources of backup power for reliable energy supply in cases of damage to electrical equipment and networks, according to the Ministry of Energy.
