Temporary housing for pregnant women to be built in Lviv
Temporary housing for displaced pregnant women has begun to be built in Lviv.
The Lviv City Council reported this.
The project envisages the construction of two two-story buildings with a total area of 1,300 m2. The houses will be equipped with bedrooms, showers, and toilets.
There will be common areas for rest and cooking on the territory of the town. It is planned that the houses will provide temporary housing for more than 100 women.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by mid-July 2022. The project is being implemented with the participation of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, which has invested 26 million hryvnias.
Lviv already has a modular town for migrants, which can provide housing for more than 350 people.
