President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Denmark understands and supports Ukraine.

"Denmark understands and supports Ukraine, and we feel it. Thank you for the substantial meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeppe Kofod. We appreciate that you are with us at this difficult time," said the President of Ukraine.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark Jeppe Kofod began his visit to Ukraine with a trip to Irpin, affected by russia's invasion of the suburbs of Kyiv.

The Danish Foreign Minister noted that it was terrible to witness the destruction in the suburbs of Kyiv. He assured that Denmark strongly supports the investigation and prosecution of those responsible for these attacks.
